Lis has worked in professional services for over twenty years, working originally for the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales. For over five years Lis organised and ran the South West London Chartered Accountants section of the ICAEW. During this time she developed strong links with Law firms and legal organisations and was approached to become the Chief Executive of Surrey Law Society (the first non lawyer to be offered the role) where she introduced a wide variety of new and innovative ideas, which raised the profile of Surrey Law Society until it became the sixth largest and active local law society in England and Wales. During this time Lis worked with a range of law firms on their practice management and business development, including coaching and mentoring of senior partners. Lis went on to work at board level with a large regional firm, before relocating to Northants.
With an MA in Business Management and a role on the executive committee of the Law Management section, Lis continues to work with regional law firms, focussing on their client relationships and the impact this has on the bottom line. With a natural ability to engage and enrol people, Lis has a proven track record of taking strategy and turning it into reality with the least amount of pain as possible.
